ABOUT BRAD

I began tailing rods on a pulling unit at sixteen. Now I am responsible for completion and production operations in the Williston, Anadarko. I am a senior level, registered professional engineer with extensive experience in the management, operations, and engineering in the upstream oil and gas industry.

MY CAREER

My career is unusual, as my experience is somewhat balanced. I have had extensive exposure on the drilling side since I ran a successful contract drilling business during some challenging times in the industry.  But the major focus of my career is on running efficient

operations, engineering, and enhanced oil recovery.

Direct all production operations in the Northern Region. Effectively manage over 300 employees who oversee 2,100 current wells producing peak production of 150,000 BOPD and 220,000 MCFD. Directed all completion and production operations in the Northern Region. Defined and developed a new vice president position. Created and implemented an essential management structure. Directly involved in strategic planning to formulate the organizational vision and develop tactical goals, monitor results, and ensure strategic targets are met.

CONTINENTAL RESOURCES
Enid Oklahoma OK USA | 2006 - 2011

Supervised all completion and production engineering and field operations for Northern Region. Areas included the Bakken Shale development in North Dakota and Montana, EOR projects in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming, and Niobrara development in Colorado. Total annual Drilling & Completion budget of more than $2 Billion, operating in excess of 20 drilling rigs. Over 1,300 wells were completed during my tenure. I developed and managed personnel growth that increased from an original count of 70 to 150 employees.

ILLINOIS

CONTINENTAL RESOURCES
Mount Vernon  IL USA | 2001-2006

Responsible for all drilling, production and engineering operations for Continental Resources Eastern Division in the Illinois Basin. Duties included reserve acquisitions and exploitation of existing properties. Responsible for hiring all engineering and field staff. Developed and implemented new training program for field personnel resulting in increased operating efficiency.

FARRAR OIL COMPANY
Mount Vernon IL USA | 1989 – 2001

Directed all phases of drilling, production, and engineering operations for a regional, independent oil and gas company in the Illinois Basin. Responsible for increasing net operated production over 500%. Negotiated and closed eighteen major property acquisitions. Developed and implemented ten highly successful water flood projects. Oversight of all outside operated properties in Oklahoma, Michigan, North Dakota and Montana. Performance recognized with an equity interest.

DRILLING SUPERINTENDENT

FARRAR OIL COMPANY
Mount Vernon IL USA | 1986- 2000

Responsible for contract drilling operation and other services – well servicing, completion, and workovers. Transformed marginal drilling operation with poor reputation and deteriorating customer base to most successful operation in the area. Consistently increased market share during a severely declining market. Improved crew efficiency as measured by significant decrease in rotating hours. Directed three rig pushers and thirty-six hands. Drilled 612 wells with a total footage of 2,042,639 feet.
